I reset the hub motor

I moved the hub motor from the small straight bike where I had it to a 26" 18speed front suspension bike I bought at a thirft store. I really does perform well when set to the highest possible gearing. I suppose I could shift it down if I couldn't get the energy up to maintain the high gear pedaling on a long hill. But as of not it seems to do fine on the test track.

The front suspension is nice as well. The roads are much worse these days I think. Must be less maintenance and cheaper building materials. I dunno.

been too long

I haven't kept this up as I should. If there is anyone reading I'm sorry. I finally got the small evil bike working well yesterday. The weather broke which is also my excuse for not writing. I haven't had anything to say really.

I rode the small evil bike to the park this morning for my walk. I need to keep an eye out to see how long it takes to recharge. I'm curious. I have switched to charging the two batteries in a parallel circuit with a single 12 volt charger.

Well I'm off to breakfast with my wife later.

Well it's thursday

I worked on the small bike I bought over the weekend. I got it to work but I don't like it. The bike is not comfortable At all. And its very, very noisy. I can probably find and fix that problem. i do have two other bikes so it isn't a real high priority item though. I just wanted to make it work and I did.

Rainy monday past and now its tuesday

I worked on the bike just a little yesterday. I added thee inches to the first push bike so that it would fold up for storage. In it's present configuration I can move it in and out of the shop. I no longer need to store it in the shed.

If it dries up outside my back door, I need to weld four L brackets onto the new bike to hold the batteries, and then some kind of holder on each of the bikes to hold the wires away from the wheels.

If it continues to look like rain, I might just put it off till another day.

second pusher bike

I tried the ebike with a two wheel pusher trailer. It worked okay, but not as well as the one with a single wheel. I converted it to a single wheel. I do have to switch out the rear bike wheel and I have to work out a battery system otherwise it is finished. Since this one folds up, I'm going to store it inside and without batteries. I guess it will be my spare bike. Just add batteries and it's ready to go.
